Panelists:

Tracy Hutcheson, Head of User Experience, Broadcom

Tracy is a Software Engineering and UX Executive focused on innovation and marrying design to execution. Tracy has expertise in on-premise, cloud, and mobile channels and form factors. He has worked for much of his career dealing with data, Big Data, and data visualization. Tracy has led a company-wide Software strategy group on UI modernization and technology. Tracy has led cross-geo teams of front-end/back-end engineers, UX, software architects, DevOps, Big Data developers, QA, and escalations teams. Tracy’s current role is UI modernization within mainframe software products to augment existing UIs with front-end web-based UIs. Tracy’s team recently won an award for their Mainframe Signature Design system.

Skyla Loomis, Vice President, IBM Z Software, IBM

Skyla Loomis is the VP for the IBM Z Application Platform software portfolio which includes the most secure, highest performing. and lowest total cost of ownership transaction processing and database systems such as IMS, CICS, and z/TPF. She’s responsible for strategy, product management, software engineering, support, and services for the Z Application Platform as well our z/OS synergy with Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. She’s been with IBM 19 years and held development leadership roles across public cloud, mobile, business analytics, data warehousing, and NoSQL. Passionate about culture, she’s led agile transformation journeys across multiple teams.

Rich Byrnes, Vice President, Strategy & Development at GTSG

Rich Byrnes has a diverse background in the technology industry. After a successful turnaround of Swank, Inc as SVP, Operations, he went on to work at IBM for close to 15 years ending his time there as VP, Integrated Technology Services. Currently he serves as VP, Strategy and Development for Global Technology Solutions Group, a provider of IT consulting solutions and services focused on the data center.
