To help IBM Z clients in the financial industry better comply with increasingly stringent time synchronization accuracy regulations, IBM Z introduced support for Precision Time Protocol on the z15 in May 2020. The session will briefly review those regulations, and then cover the technical features of PTP that enables it to help better comply with these regulations.
