In this lecture, Mr. Afzal Abdul Rahim will discuss the digital transformation of TIME dotCom, its priorities and the skills he considers important in a rapidly developing industry.

Afzal holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Electronics, specialising in Acoustic Wave Theory from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. He started his career in the automotive industry culminating in a regional role with Group Lotus PLC. A technology entrepreneur, he also founded the Malaysian Internet Exchange (MyIX), which was established in 2006. He currently sits on the Boards of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad, Symphony Communication Public Company Limited, CMC Telecommunication Infrastructure Corporation, Megawisra Investments Limited, Megawisra Sdn Bhd, Global Transit International Sdn Bhd and Pulau Kapas Ventures Sdn Bhd.
