What You’ll Learn:

Despite enterprise-class features in your high-end storage systems, application unavailability conditions still occur due to storage performance problems. Outsmarting these currently unpredictable incidents is possible. But it requires a new approach.

First, by using accurate and detailed storage performance modeling software that takes into account your workloads on specific hardware configurations including vendor, model, ports, disk tier devices, etc.

And second, by continuous, automatic assessment of the risk in the various storage components to handle the peak workloads, and tracking how that risk is changing. This requires software that evaluates the performance and configuration data using detailed expert knowledge about the storage hardware components in use.

Both of these are far easier to accomplish than most storage professionals realize.  Especially using the technology via Software as a Service.

If you rely on block-storage arrays from EMC, IBM, HP, or HDS, and fabric devices from Brocade or Cisco, this webinar is applicable to your environment. Case studies, as well as an overview of the IntelliMagic technology, will be covered.
