Year Round Partnership Opportunities with CMG

Last year CMG surveyed its members and they reported that they wanted more interaction and educational presentations from our sponsors. The membership also indicated that they would like these exchanges to be in addition to the traditional conference exhibit hall encounters. In response CMG is embarking on a new venture to establish a year round relationship with our conference exhibitors and sponsors.
As a first step we are offering webinar sponsorship opportunities (see the CMG Webinars article by Amy Spellmann). CMG is hosting free webinars that feature sponsor companies or their customers explaining how their tools are being used to solve real world capacity and performance management problems. Due to the overwhelming success of the webinars CMG is undertaking a project to determine what other services we can provide to facilitate communication between our membership and our sponsors.
We recently engaged our marketing company to develop a survey that was distributed our sponsors to determine how they would like to collaborate with CMG in the future. The survey is designed to discover the sponsors’ initiatives and directions and identify how to align CMG’s offerings to support those efforts. This will allow CMG to expand its community and increase information sharing opportunities. CMG values it relationship with our sponsors and realizes the benefits they can bring to the CMG membership.
