SUMMARY:Responsible and Ethical AI: Evolving Landscape of Standards \, Frameworks and Guidelines
DESCRIPTION:We will explore the Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) concept while emphasizing the need for AI systems\, the importance of human well-being\, transparency\, accountability\, governance\, privacy\, security\, human values\, and agency. We will examine real-world examples as well as case studies and discuss the consequences of irresponsible AI development and the benefits of prioritizing ethics in AI design. \n \nAbout the Speaker \nAmir Bahmanyari is an Advisory Engineer in the Dell Technologies’ Data Science Platform team. Amir joined Dell Technologies Big Data Analytics team in late 2017. He helps Dell technologies’ customers build their Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence solutions. Amir has been active in Artificial and Evolutionary Intelligence work since late 1980’s when he was a Ph.D. candidate student at Wayne State University\, Detroit\, MI. Prior to Dell\, Amir worked for a major automotive company\, a major financial company\, several startups in the Silicon Valley and as a Big Data Analytics Platform Architect at a major retailer.
