CMG Announces Comprehensive Conference Program for CMG’09 in Dallas, December 6-11, 2009

TURNERSVILLE, NJ, September 3, 2009 - TThe Computer Measurement Group (CMG), the IT professionals responsible for planning, measuring and managing the world's largest IT infrastructures, announced today that it has completed assembling the agenda for the 35th International Computer Measurement Group annual conference (CMG'09) taking place taking place December 6-11 in Dallas, Texas at the Gaylord Texan.
CMG'09 program presentations cover "hot button" issues such as: Cloud Computing, Software as a Service (SaaS), SOA, Virtualization, Measurement & Tuning, Load Testing, Modeling and Forecasting. Attendees interact with presenters in a variety of venues including workshops, "how-to" tutorials, user-experiences and problem-solving presentations as well as informal networking with peers.
CMG'09 will offer over a 150 sessions from Monday through Friday. These sessions include nearly 100 presentations which have been peer-reviewed using a blind-referee process. There will be over 35 invited industry expert sessions as well as a number of panels with experts discussing issues of relevance to IT performance practitioners. Included will be CMG-T (training) sessions given by several industry luminaries presenting courses on core competencies for all levels of interest of the attendees from 'rookies' to 'experts'.
In addition, CMG offers a set of Sunday Workshops consisting of the most pressing capacity and performance topics in the field including hands-on labs for specific platforms (such as Linux/UNIX, Windows, network, and z/OS) and emerging technologies focused on IT optimization and service level management. Throughout CMG'09, there will also be additional training offered by exhibitors with technical training classes focusing on their tools.
