CMG has four unique publications, the CMG Journal, the CMG Proceedings, the CMG Bulletin and MeasureIT. Here is a brief explanation of each.
The CMG Journal is published at least three times per year. Most papers in the Journal are not presented at the CMG Conference in December, yet occasionally some might be. Authors with papers in the Journal are not asked nor are they required to present them in December.
The Journal is a periodical publication. It usually has a special subject area. Two of the Journal issues are consistently published every year, they are the International (Autumn) and the Late Breaking (Winter). The International edition contains papers from CMG international regions, around the world, and may occasionally appear at the CMG Conference in a Best Papers track. The Late Breaking (LB) issue contains papers that have information/content that is so recent that the papers weren't ready for print in the CMG Proceedings. The remaining Journals have varying topics, focus, and subject areas.
The Journal is always looking for authors. If you have a paper you would like considered for the Journal please send it in to as soon as possible. If it misses one Journal deadline we will work with you to possibly get it in another. Papers in the Journal are refereed (yet this is not a blind process) and also go through an Editorial Review Board (ERB).

The CMG Proceedings is the official CMG Conference publication that contains all the 'accepted' Conference papers. These papers are all 'blind' refereed and also go through an ERB. The CMG Proceedings is distributed to attendees at the CMG Conference each December (CD is the default, hardcopy is optional). The Proceedings are printed once a year.

The CMG Bulletin, the third publication, is also a periodical but does not include papers, it contains CMG news and CMG items of interest. You should submit articles/pictures to .
