CMG Brazil or CMG BR a international non-profit organization was established at 2005 and the first meeting occurred last year and the second one last Sept,28th 2007 in Sao Paulo, SP Brazil.
With approximately a hundred members that attended the meeting CMG BR is joining our best CP & Performance evaluation professionals in Brazil. The meeting was received very well and it was classified by excellent by our IT community in terms of session contents and logistics. It was sponsored by NCNB bank, CSC (BMC products in Brazil), Eccox S.A. Performance Optimization, IBM Tivoli and Maffei Consultants. The opening session was performed by the Banco do Brasil IT manager that emphasized the growing importance of the Capacity Planning discipline not only to the bank by the new IT era that we are facing. We have yet lots of thing to do but our voluntaries here are doing their best, special thanks to Cathy Nolan (CMG Int.Vice-President) that are doing a perfect international support. Our plans is to create contents in terms of site publications, optimize the CMG BR forum and we intend to have more small regional sessions around our very large territory. A closer relationship with all CMGs is one of our objectives too.
