Frank Bereznay and Rick Ralston, having presented together at two regional CMG meetings (MCMG and Philadelphia) this year, are bringing their act to Southern CMG in Richmond, VA on September 27 and Raleigh, NC on September 28, 2007. Frank Bereznay will present his Mullen Award paper, "Using Statistical Techniques to Interpret Service and Resource Metrics" and Rick Ralston will present "Using SAS/Graph to Display Performance and Capacity Data." In addition, Peter Sevcik will present "Benchmarking APM Best Practices," which will use benchmarking results (anonymous survey completed by attendees before the meetings from www.surveymonkey.com...) to understand what proactive application performance management (APM) processes our members have in place.

The line-up for the two meetings (including our three featured speakers) will be:

September 27, 2007, Richmond at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond

  • "System Management by Exception, Part Final" (Igor Trubin)
