Phil Bell, Syncsort
Phil has been working in Capacity Management since leaving university in the year 2000. Starting as a junior consultant on the niche platform of Unisys Clearpath systems, Phil rapidly moved on to Capacity Planning for distributed platforms as well, and gained VMware VCP qualifications in 2007. Phil joined the Athene team in 2007 leaving the role of Capacity Manager at a FTSE100 company to become Athene Pre-Sales consultant for EMEA. As well as supporting the EMEA sales team, Phil is also involved in consulting, training, and assisting Product Management. Phil has had a number of papers accepted for regional and international CMG conferences, mostly on the topic of VMware and Capacity Management.
