Referee Documentation for the Paper Submission System

  1. Log in to the system

    Contact your Subject Area Chair for your referee number and password, if they have not already contacted you.

  2. Download

    For each paper you have been assigned, you have the ability to download the paper directly from the server. If a paper has not yet been uploaded, the 'Download' link will be replaced with 'Pending Upload'.

  3. Referee Paper

    After downloading and reading the paper, select this link to complete the evaluation form.

Status Descriptions

  • Pending Evaluation - You have not yet evaluated this paper.

  • Evaluation Complete - You have evaluated this paper. No further action is required on part of the referee for this paper.

  • Pending Upload - A paper has been assigned to you, but the paper has not been uploaded. Author must upload paper by Paper Submission Deadline.

  • Abstract Updated - A paper has been assigned to you, but the abstract has been updated. The Subject Area Chair must 'Allow Evaluation' before you can download and evaluate this paper

  • Paper Updated - A paper has been assigned to you, but the paper has been updated. The Subject Area Chair must 'Allow Evaluation' before you can download and evaluate this paper

  • Flagged - A paper has been assigned to you, but the paper or abstract is not yet ready for review.

  • Withdrawn - A paper has been assigned to you, but the paper or abstract is not yet ready for review. No further action is required on part of the referee for this paper.
