To help you plan your evenings at CMG’08 we are listing below the planned activities that CMG will host this year. Please note that Tuesday night we will have a wine and cheese networking reception co-located with our poster sessions. This will give you the opportunity to meet your friends, check out the posters and then go out and explore Las Vegas.
Monday Night
Enjoy the party atmosphere at Margaritaville, a short 10 minute walk from the hotel. This will be a loud, raucous, fun and crazy event. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided and you can use your drink tickets to get drinks
Tuesday Night
We listened to your requests for networking opportunities so Tuesday night we are having a shortened reception (1.5 hours). Wine and cheese will be served rather than the traditional PARs’ fare and the poster sessions will be hosted there at the same time. So you can check out the posters, speak with the authors, enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese with your friends and then head off to socialize and check out Las Vegas. A selection of cheeses will be provided and you can use your drink tickets to get drinks.
Wednesday Night
The exhibit hall is open late and from 6.30pm to 8pm our bars will be open in the exhibit hall. Elvis and Marilyn will be popping in and at 7.30pm PARs opens next door. We will be dancing and rocking with a terrific Beatles cover band called The Fab Four. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided and you can use your drink tickets to get drinks.
Thursday Night
PARs opens at 7.30pm and will feature Bruce in the USA. Come and enjoy your favorite Bruce Springsteen songs. This event is being sponsored by TeamQuest. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided and of course you can use your drink tickets to get drinks.
