Call for Late Breaking Papers

Call for Late Breaking Papers
CMG'07 / San Diego
December 3rd - 7th, 2007

Clearly, IT professionals responsible for today's' complex environments know that the only constant is change. Today's competitive advantage will quickly become tomorrow's legacy liability. With that said, did you hear the latest announcements? Do you think you'll need to come up to speed quickly on newly announced technologies? Are you already immersed in evaluating the impact of late-breaking technologies on your organization?

CMG, after 30 years in the performance and capacity business, still remains the primary source of applied, practical performance knowledge. To ride the current wave late-breaking announcements, CMG calls for LATE-BREAKING TECHNOLOGY PRESENTATIONS to be presented at the 33rd Annual International Conference being held in San Diego, CA, December 2-7, 2007. We are asking for presentations and papers that focus not only on performance and capacity issues, but also on any technologies, disciplines, techniques, and approaches related to Systems Management or Information Systems. This would include operating system and database announcements, mobile computing, networking, storage, applied math, modeling and virtualization.

We are also asking for "How To" presentations that explain how to apply newly announced/available tools and services to important performance & capacity tasks. "How To" presentations are meant to educate performance professionals in the application of late-breaking technologies.

Submissions at all levels are encouraged about late-breaking technologies: tutorial, technical, and managerial. We require papers (or PowerPoint slides with speaker's notes) no later than October 1st * for consideration for inclusion in the conference. Earlier submissions are encouraged?, as CMG'07 timeslots will be limited and decisions for acceptance made on a case-by-case basis.
