Performance Counts.
Two simple words, but if you put them together they carry a lot of weight. In IT departments everywhere, they mean everything. If your systems or applications run slower than molasses in winter you have problems, it's that simple. You have a poorly tuned system, an application that wasn't properly load tested, capacity issues, I/O issues and those are just the usual suspects.
How do you determine what's wrong and the quickest way to find the problem? Well, experience helps, but sometimes those problems can hide in plain sight. Another set of eyes, or ears, can really be a big help. That's where CMG comes in.
