(thanks to Margaret Greenberg, CMG'07s Volunteer Coordinator)
One of the great advantages of attending a CMG conference is how much valuable, practical information you are presented with in sessions. You simply can't find that much information and education anywhere else. CMGers network together, become immersed in new products and services at our world-class Exhibitor Expo, and share experiences with their industry peers in a setting not available anywhere else! With innovation being the most sought after theme for vendors this year, CMGers will be treated to new technologies applied to their problems by our exhibitor partner community.
So while we are getting set to go to San Diego, we ask that you consider being one of our onsite volunteers at CMG'07. We need:
We really could use your help! As you know, CMG is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization - we are systems professionals just like you - and we need more of ‘us' to help make CMG'07 go as smoothly as possible!
So help out! Surf over to Chairing a Session - http://www.cmg.org/cgi-bin/chair.pl - or Monitoring an Area - http://www.cmg.org/cgi-bin/monitor.pl
Please join us at the volunteer training session on Monday for specific guidance on the on-site volunteer positions, even if you're not sure of your schedule for the week. The specific room location will be announced in the Sunday/Monday daily newsletter. Be sure to pick up one when you pick up your registration package.
Spare time during the week? Please stop at Session Control, across the hall from the session rooms, to see what volunteer positions are still available. We'll be glad to get your help!
If you sign up (or plan to do so onsite), please attend the Monday training session.
THANKS!! See you in San Diego.
