I want to thank all those who have submitted Abstracts for this year's conference. We have some really interesting papers in prospect.
But it occurs to me that, when I write a paper, the Abstract is usually the last thing I compose, rather than the first. And some of you may approach writing a paper the same way. So I am extending the deadline for Abstracts to match the deadline for papers: June 13, 2009.
What that means is: even if you did not get an Abstract in, you can still write a paper for CMG'09.
As always, we welcome papers on the cutting edge of measurement, performance analysis, and capacity planning. But such breakthroughs only happen a couple of times in a decade. What we'd particularly like are papers which focus on examples of how techniques were used to solve real problems on real systems. If you've had experience solving a real problem, why not share it with the rest of us?
